Jetmir Idrizi (b.1984, Prishtina, Kosovo) is a photographer whose work explores the intersection of portraiture, gender identity, and sexuality. Jetmir Idrizi studied Journalism in his hometown of Prishtina, a field that initially shaped his eye for storytelling through the visual medium. Since 2015, he has divided his time between Brazil, Argentina, and Germany, which has not only broadened his cultural perspective but also deepened his connection to the global conversations surrounding identity, culture, and sexuality. His photography work has garnered him national and international recognition. In 2012 he was the winner of Gjon Mili International Photography Prize and in 2016 he won Sony World Photography Award in Campaign Category. His work has been showcased in several exhibitions throughout the world.
