Zgjim Zyba (1994) completed his bachelor studies in Conceptual Art and New Media, and received his MA in Contemporary Art at the Faculty of Arts of Pristina and in Multimedia Communication and Creation Events at the University of Florence. Zyba works across a multitude of media including installation, video, performance and photographs. In his previous works he addresses the issues of social and personal trauma. His artistic practice is focused on the relationship between social and personal tramuas, and adresses the lack of human rights and freedom. He has particapated in group shows including “Colorless” performance in FemArt festival ( 2018), Pristina, “SiKur Hana” Visual and artistic anthropology in The National Museum of Kosovo (2018),Pristina, “Sospeso/ Pezull,” in HYmno Art Lab (2021), “Quick Yeast,” in Artefiera di Bologna (2022), and was an artist in residency at “Bevilacqua La Masa.” He lives and works in Venice, Italy.
